My deepest and belated condolences to the Rayment family. I went to school with Margo at Queen's and she was a very dear friend in those days. We lost track in recent years but her intelligence, passion for human rights and adventurous spirit have stayed with me. This is a great loss. She was a Good and caring and wickedly funny person and like so many I'm better for having known her.

Margo and I shared our trauma experiences at Sierra Tucson. We developed a connection unlike any other and depended on each other and kept in constant phone Connections. Even making plans to return together to be guest speakers at Sierra Tucson was a goal. She exhibited the strength and perseverance I wish I possessed. She was a role model for me and to me, there were never be a person with such strength and such a humanitaria n humanitarian. There will never be another person like her. I intend to return to Sierra Tucson to speak about affects of trauma and she will be my inspiration and I will do it in memory of her. I will never recover from her devastating loss. Her death was a travesty and she will always be with me in my heart. She was one of the greatest inspirational people and her death was the result of a monster. I will always love her and in spirit, we will always remain connected With loving peace.

My most heartfelt condolences to the Rayment Family. I was deeply saddened to learn that Margo had passed away. To her mother (Audrey), her brothers Brant and Ken (and their families), and to her sister Catherine (and her family) - words cannot express the loss you must feel. To my friend Catherine, growing up in Camrose . . . I do remember Margo as "a happy freckly faced kid". But, her obituary speaks for itself - her accomplishments overwhelm me - her short time on this earth was well spent. You all must be very proud of Margo Lynn Rayment. May she rest in peace. With Love & Remembrance, Debra (Gnus) Blomme

I learned the sad news today of Margo's passing. How tragic! I counted Margo as a great friend from the time I spent in Amman working for the US Refugee Resettlement Program. I and everyone else who knew her, remember Margo for her hard work, compassion and friendship. Quite by chance, before receiving this news, I was chatting with an Iraqi refugee who came through Amman at the same time I was there. He is now an interpreter based at Fort Irwin and he asked me if I knew the name of "the Canadian woman" at UNHCR who had handled his case. Margo! He told me he would always remember her with deep gratitude for the great kindness and professionalism she showed him and his family. I'm sure he's not alone among the thousands of refugees Margo helped with. Her wonderful legacy is assured!

I am deeply pained to learn of Margo's departure... She was an incredible woman, immensely intelligent, intense, passionate. An adventurer, yes. We met in Korea, and she led me on phenomenal journeys through wild landscapes and events of hilarity, absurdity and illumination. Some of the best times of my life were in her company. I am forever grateful. My sincerest condolences to Margo's family. So sorry for this great loss.

Alongside Victoria, Heba and Anwar, I was priveledged to have worked for Margo in Jordan, helping vulnerable families seek protection and a durable solution. Margo was indefatigable and her commitment to refugees was steadfast. Margo was the first person I met when I arrived in Jordan and she came to meet me at my hotel on the weekend. I'll never forget her kindness and diligence and feel lucky to have been able to work for her for the short time we shared together in Amman.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we all feel about Margo’s death. The only thing we can all do is to wish you, her beloved friends and family members, and ourselves peace to bring us comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in our hearts. I am definite that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Margo will continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Her love will leave an indelible imprint in our hearts and we will always find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared her love and sweet memories. I have known Margo for more than seven years, and if I want to share the beautiful memories we had together I would need hundreds of pages and many long hours... Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for this huge loss…our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I am so very sad to hear of this loss. My deepest sympathies to her family. Margo was a wonderful friend and I have many great high school memories of time spent with her. My most cherished memories are certainly our years in rowing at the University of Alberta. She was a formidable partner in the double. All the times we spent in a rowing shell together gave us such a unique connection ! You will be missed my friend.

So very sad to learn of Margo passing and want to extend my sympathies to her family. I had the pleasure of working with her in Jordan and observed first hand the lengths she went to help with the resettlement of refugees. The work was difficult and challenging, but we looked after each other and provided the necessary support so we were not alone. We shared our troubles and cared for each other. She will be missed by her friends, colleagues and the many many refugees she helped. We will hold on to the memories of shared experiences and joyful times.
