Paul Strilchuk passed away on November 29, 2014 at 91 years of age.
Paul was born March 20, 1923 to parents Jack and Annie Strilchuk on the family farm in Round Hill, Alberta. On June 29, 1946, Paul married Irene Maslanka.
Paul is survived by sons Larry (Marilynn) of Westlock, Brian (Marilyn) of Ryley and Bob (Barb) of Spruce Grove; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother Gary; and sisters Wilma, Annette, Lorraine, Mary-Ann and Joanne. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Annie; wife Irene; son Eugene; brother Philip; and sisters Elizabeth, Margaret and Sylvia.
A Funeral Service was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2014 from the Ryley Community Hall with Rev. Greg Faryna officiating. Interment has taken place at the Round Hill Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church Round Hill, or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
