Mrs. Sophie Galenza of Camrose, passed away, on Friday October 24, 2008 ,at the age of 88 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Leonard (Marilyn) of Spruce Grove, Roger (Judy) of Camrose and Shirley Galenza of Spruce Grove, five grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren, one brother Fred (Frances) Sawula, two sisters , Kate Pasula of Camrose and Vera Dool of Warburg also numerous relatives and friends.
Sophie was predeceased by her husband Carl , son Doug , two Daughters - inlaw; Pat and Mary, four brothers and one sister.
Prayer Services were held on Tuesday October 28, 2008 at 7:00pm from the Burgar Memorial Chapel.
Mass of the Resurection was held on Wednesday October 29 , 2008 at 11:00am from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev.Raj Susai as celebrant.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Cancer Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Sophie
