Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Patricia "Tricia" Ann Lohner of Camrose, formerly of Heisler, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the age of 44 years. Patricia Ann Lohner was born September 29, 1970. Tricia was raised on the family farm east of Heisler. She took her schooling in Heisler and graduated from Daysland High School. She continued her education at Augustana and the UofA, where she received a BSc and BEd. She taught high school in Forestburg and Tofield. On July 13, 1996 she married Marty Lohner, and they were blessed with three daughters Shannon, Ashley, and Natasha. Tricia became a stay at home mom shortly after Shannon was born. She was a loving, caring wife and mother; she supported her family in their every endeavor. Any friends of the girls automatically became a friend of Tricia's and they were always welcomed into our home with open arms. She was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2008 and has carried on with unbelievable strength, courage and positive attitude. She lived with her disease in style, always changing her looks and hair color just because she could. Her love for life included designing the family home, pets, especially Charlie our dog, gardening with bright colorful flowers, camping trips with family and friends, annual Mexico trips, and being involved with different organizations especially soccer or anything else her daughters were involved in. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother. Tricia was predeceased by her brother Jeffery; grandparents Leo and Louise Blaeser, James Walsh; and mother-in-law Margaret (Peggy) Lohner. Tricia leaves to cherish her memory: husband Marty, daughters Shannon, Ashley, Natasha, parents Grant and Beth Blaeser, brother Mackenzie Blaeser, grandmother Betty Walsh, and father-in-law Stan Lohner. A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 from Calvary Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bill Harder officiating. Interment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Mary Palliative Care, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
