Obituary of William Wensel

William Wilbert Wensel of Camrose passed away Thursday, November 13th, 2014 at the age of 72 years.
Willy was born north of Camrose in the Dinant area.
He took an early interest in automotive and mechanical repair. His first job was with Crawford and Co. He then moved to a GM dealership for several years and apprenticed to become self-sufficient as a mobile mechanic. "Do you need an oil change?"
Willie enjoyed travel and visited Hawaii, Costa Rica, Portugal, Argentina, Canada's West Coast and preferred a place with sunshine and rum. He continues his journey today.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother Wally of Carvel, special friend Margaret Sydora, nieces and nephews; Neil, Diane, and Ross Wensel of Calgary, Arden (Sonja) Wensel of Edmonton, and Janette (Clifford) Doering of Canmore.
William was predeceased by his parents John and Ethel, and brother Edward.
A Funeral Service for William Wensel was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 from Grace Lutheran Church, Camrose with Rev. Greg Kjos officiating. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Grace Lutheran Church, Camrose.
