Obituary of Ronald "Ron" Bouck

Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ron Bouck of Camrose passed away peacefully on October 24, 2014 at the age of 56 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Ron is survived by his loving family: wife Leanne; children Carley (Michael) Dolan, Nick (Jackie) Emmott, Janelle (Curtis) Hrdlicka, Greg (Sarah) Emmott, and Jason (Christina) Bouck; as well as nine loving grandchildren Lachlan, Keaton and Caelan Dolan; Sophie and Sebastian Emmott; Sawyer, Chesney and Cooper Hrdlicka; and Porter Bouck. Ron was born on May 10, 1958 to Alan, Jean and big brother Howard. They lived in Camrose until moving to the family farm in 1963. In March of 1982, Ron became a journeyman electrician. Ron and Leanne were married on April 24, 1982. They were blessed with three children. In 1990, their family was increased by two boys when Leanne's brother and sister-in-law were killed in a plane crash. Ron worked for Vulcan Electric, Sparrow Electric, Shaw Pipe and Pyramid Electric. In 2002 Ron became Area Manager of Central Alberta for Pyramid Electric and continued in this position until his passing. Ron was happiest on the acreage they purchased in 2011. He loved snowmobiling, riding his motorbike and sitting by the fire. He loved different types of music, nature and especially the sunrises and sunsets, and pulling pranks on friends and coworkers. Ron's greatest love was his family and spending time with all of them. Ron often signed his name then added R.N.G. (Real Nice Guy); that is how many others saw him! Funeral Services were held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00p.m. from The Calvary Pentecostal Church in Camrose with Pastor Ed Lehman officiating. Interment has taken place in The Century Meadows Baptist Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to STARS, The Alberta Cancer Foundation, or to the Firefighters Burn Treatment Unit, 3C2 Walter Mackenzie Center 8440-112St. Edmonton, Ab. T6G-2B7
