Grant Robert Comfort of Camrose, formerly of Thorhild, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the age of 74 years.
Grant was born August 13, 1940 in the Township of Moulton at home. He is the oldest son of Bob and Ethel Comfort. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother Gary.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Shirley; children Laurie (Bill) Kirdeikis of Edmonton, and Ken (Monica Selesky) of Lacombe; six grandchildren David, Robert (Lacey), Christine, Ashley (Cody), Cole, and Katrina (Tyler); three brothers Karl (Bev), Rob Lee, and Ben; and sisters Gaylyn (Don) Silverthorn and Cheryl (Walter) Otting.
Grant was predeceased by his parents and one brother Gary.
A Funeral Service was held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from the Camrose Community Church (5204 53 Ave, Camrose) with Rev. Ralph Kassen officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Abee Cemetery at a later date.
If family and friend so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
