Raymond Alphius Wingrove of New Norway, Alberta, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the age of 67 years.

Raymond was born on December 1, 1956, to William and Jessie Wingrove in Edmonton, Alberta.

Raymond was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends camping, playing cribbage, poker, and all the crazy card games ever invented. With a strong passion for cars, Raymond had a career in the autobody industry. He also really enjoyed going to car shows when they would pop up.

Ray is the type to always lend a hand to anyone who needed help and always made everyone around him feel loved.

We will cherish these times forever and will always have our memories with you close to our hearts for eternity.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Tony (Claudia) Wingrove, Chris (Melba) Vaudry, and Nicolas Wingrove (Susan Hoang); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Bill (Lil) Wingrove, and Cathy (Calvin) Lindholm.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents William and Jessie Wingrove.
 

A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue officiated by Rev. David Eriksson.
