Stewart Allan Campbell

(August 11, 1931 - November 6, 2023)

Stewart Allan Campbell of Round Hill, Alberta was born in Camrose on August 11, 1931 and passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the age of 92 years. 

Stewart loved farming and his cattle. One pastime of his was driving around to check crops and the cattle. His favourite passenger and sidekick was ‘Pepsi’, the farm’s blue heeler, and would often see them driving around in the John Deere Gator.

When Jeanne was out and about he would happily make lunch for the ‘boys’ out in the field.

Stewart would always ask how the ‘little girls’ were doing.

He transitioned from home to Rosealta Lodge in Camrose (first time to live somewhere other than the farm) and would eventually join Jeanne at Tofield Long Term Care.

Stewart lived a long and fulfilling life and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his memory are sons Dale (Brenda) of Round Hill, Dean (Denise) of Round Hill and Murray (LeeAnn) of Camrose; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Stensrud of Ryley; and brother Lester (Donna) of Edmonton.

Stewart was predeceased by his parents Don and Agnes; and his siblings Albert, Tommy, Donald, Margaret, Bob, George, William, Doreen and James.

A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from the CityLights Church, 4920 48 Street Camrose officiated by Rev. Brian Hunter.
