Frances "Fran" Elizabeth Meston
(June 28, 1937 - September 13, 2023)
Frances "Fran" Elizabeth Meston of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Cayley, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the age of 86 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Randy (Kirby) Meston of Chestermere, Colleen (Ron) Slavik of Viking, and Scott (Nola) Meston of Longview; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings Edward (Sonnia) Faye of Kelliher, SK, Doreen Bugyi of Regina, SK, Harold (Mildred) Faye of Abbottsford, B.C., Jean (Albert) Benko of Calgary, Tony (Linda) Faye of Calgary, Gerald Faye of Wishart, SK, and Loretta (Gillis) MacDonald of Humbolt, SK; sister-in-law Shirley Faye; brother-in-law Allen Meston; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Fran was predeceased by her husband Gordon, daughter Tracy Meston, parents Stanley and Catherine Faye, brothers Gordon Faye and Albin Faye; brothers-in-law Daniel Bugyi and Grant Meston; and niece Nadine Gordon.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 from the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 3605 50 St Camrose celebrated by Father Robert Lee. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at service time on the church website at the following link: https://stfxcamrose.caedm.ca and a recording will be available on the church website under “recorded masses”.
