Janet "Jenny" Elisabeth Hanson
(December 10, 1921 - August 11, 2023)
On Friday, August 11, 2023, Janet Elisabeth Hanson of Edmonton, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at the Grey Nuns Hospital at the age of 101 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Nola and Neil; grandsons Zachary (Melissa) and Alexander; and sister Elma. Janet will also be remembered by her sister-in-law’s Hazel and Trudy, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Janet was predeceased by her husband Arthur; son Iain; and brother Ian.
A memorial service to celebrate Janet’s life was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Grace United Church in Edmonton.
