Terry Wayne Ulrich
(September 4, 1957 - August 7, 2023)
Terry was a proud man, a loving and devoted husband, and a supportive and loving father and grandfather. He was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on September 4, 1957. Terry grew up in Medicine Hat with his parents Bill and Alice Ulrich, as well as his two older siblings, Gerry Ulrich (Carol Crane) and Donna (John) Langill. Terry married Debbie on March 26, 1983 and they shared 40 years of marriage together. They had two children, Nicole (Kirk) Anderson and Jeremy Ulrich, and lived in Sherwood Park, Alberta for many years. Terry and Deb also enjoyed hours of fishing together at Gull Lake every summer.
Terry and Deb moved to Camrose, Alberta in 2005. This was to allow them to spend more time together, and less time for Terry away at work, which allowed nightly visits to the care center to be with Deb. He was devoted to the love of his life. Terry and Deb were blessed with three grandchildren, Owen, Adalyn and Danica.
Terry worked for the Alberta Government with the water and infrastructure operations branch. He was a senior operations and management supervisor in Camrose and took a lot of pride in his work. Terry recently celebrated his 40 years of service. Terry was also well known in his neighborhood as he would faithfully walk his dog, Bailey, no matter what the weather conditions were.
Terry passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 65. Terry will be greatly missed and will be remembered for his laugh, sense of humor, and love for family. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Deb Ulrich of Camrose; children Nicole (Kirk) Anderson of Sherwood Park and Jeremy Ulrich of Fort Saskatchewan; three grandchildren; and siblings Gerry Ulrich (Carol Crane) of Medicine Hat and Donna (John) Langill of Medicine Hat.
Terry was predeceased by his parents Bill and Alice Ulrich.
A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, 4817 - 51 Avenue Camrose, officiated by Rev. MaryAnn Pastuck.
