Obituary of Jesper Skov Lund
Jesper Skov Lund
(December 28, 1926 - June 8, 2023)
It is with a sad heart that our family announces the passing of Jesper Skov Lund who last resided in Cochrane, Alberta. He died peacefully on June 8th, 2023, at the age of 96.
Left to cherish his memory are his many nieces and nephews of both Canada and Denmark. Uncle Jesper will be remembered for not only his hospitality and kindness, but for his beautiful carpentry.
Jesper was predeceased by his parents Laurids and Christine Lund; and siblings Christian Lund, Sofie Hansen, Marie Hansen, Knud Lund and Bertram Lund.
A special thanks goes out to the Bethany Care Home nurses and staff for their care and support, to Dr. Clark, who took great care of my uncle while he lived in Canmore, and who helped make his transition to Cochrane an easy one, and to Ruellen from SOS Supportive Outings and Services Inc. who visited my uncle weekly to play games and to keep him company. You all have been a blessing to my uncle, and to us as well.
A private family service was held.
