Lloyd Fred Alex
(March 30, 1929 - April 5, 2023)
On April 5, 2023, Rev. Lloyd Alex went home to be with His Lord and Saviour where he is reunited with his loving wife, Therese, and grandson, Nathan. Lloyd was blessed with a long and full life of 94 years so there is, a host of other family members, including all seven of his siblings, and many friends that have gone on before him.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children Wendell, Rene, and Elaine (Ed); grandchildren Amy, Teagan, and their father, Dave; and Senna, Jenson, and their mother, Jacqueline.
Lloyd received his Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago. While studying in Chicago, he met his beautiful wife Therese and they were married in 1961.
He faithfully served the Lord as a pastor for the Evangelical Covenant Church for many years in Camrose, AB, Prince Albert, SK, Melfort, SK, and Breton, AB. He also taught at Covenant Bible College. Lloyd ministered to and cared for countless people over the years.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at St.Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon for their compassionate care during his end of life’s journey.
A private family ceremony was held at Malmo Covenant Church Cemetery, where he will join his beloved wife, Therese.
