Obituary of Diann Elliot

Diann Elliot

(March 10, 1945 - February 12, 2023)

Diann Elliot of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

Diann was born to Walter and Tillie Charko in Saskatoon, SK on March 10, 1945. She was raised happily on the family farm in Great Deer, SK. 

She married her high school sweetheart Clarence Elliot on August 20, 1966. They raised their 4 children in Camrose, AB. 

Diann became an RN in early life until she traded it in for a homemaker until her youngest reached school age. She then took employment at the Camrose Aquatic Center where she remained until she retired. During those years, she helped Clarence with clerical duties at his plumbing business all while teaching aerobics classes locally to so many.   

She approached everything she did with moral responsibility, strength and love. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clarence; her children Carrie Hilton, Darren Elliot, Dawn Elliot and Nicole Fox; six grandchildren, Alycia, Danielle, Zachery, Angelika, Levi and Jaycie; four great grandchildren; and her sisters Zan Schimnosky and Evangie (Richard) Michalenko.

She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Tillie Charko; her brothers Lawrence, Orest and Gerry; and her grandson Dustin. 

Diann was the pillar of our family and will be missed so dearly.  Her devotion, love, guidance and advice touched every member in such a way that forgotten, she will never be!
