Obituary of David Arnold Steiner

David Arnold Steiner

(October 6, 1954 - March 25, 2022)

David Arnold Steiner of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the age of 67 years.

David Steiner, loving husband, father and friend left this earth much too soon after a short and tragic illness. His passing will leave a hole in the lives of the many who knew and loved him. 

Born and raised in Camrose, he also spent nearly his entire adult life in the city. He was a hardworking man who didn’t shirk responsibility, his working life spanned four decades with CN Rail. 
 

A devoted and caring family man, his happiest times were spent in the company of family and friends, especially children. Energetic in his youth, recreation in his later years was spent quietly in his garage on woodworking projects and he took some pride in building a well-equipped woodshop for his retirement. Generous and patient, he was always available to help a friend in need. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of nearly fifty years, Janice Steiner and their children, son Craig (Shelby) and grandchildren Chase, Kaylee and Ayden, and son Kent. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings; Cathy (Brent), Karen (Sid), Susan (Wayne), Lorie (John), Debbie, Alan, and Jayne (Warren). 
 

Dave was predeceased by his parents Tony and Margaret and brother Randy. 
 

A funeral service was held Monday, April 4, 2022 at CityLights Church.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the Arthritis Society of Alberta or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.

David, we all have memories to last a lifetime.
