Daniel Harold McLaren
(April 9, 1959 - June 12, 2021)
Daniel Harold McLaren was born in Edmonton, AB on April 9, 1959 to Thomas and Marilyn McLaren. Dan had one older brother, Richard (predeceased) and was a big brother to Judy and Michael. After High School, Dan obtained his welding ticket, was manager to several taverns, property manager to several resorts and did property maintenance in Camrose.
He shares one son, Daniel, with Linda Smith, and shares one son, Robert, with Bonnie Kaiser. Dan and Bernice (nee: Duffy) have been happily married for thirty-three years, they married on April 23, 1988.
Dan enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren, Daniel, Alexandria and Tavish. He loved golfing, fishing, sports, and he BBQed the best steaks. Dan loved to make people laugh. Dan’s dogs where always a big part of his family.
Dan passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at age 62. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Bernice; sons Daniel Jr. (Allison) of Edmonton, and Robert (Melissa) of Kelowna, BC; three grandchildren; parents Thomas and Marilyn McLaren; sister Judy March of Sherwood Park; and brother Michael (Crystal) McLaren of Calgary. Daniel was predeceased by his brother Rick.
A private family service was held. Interment has taken place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
