Nathaniel Vance Ferguson

(September 17, 1944 - April 29, 2021)

 

Nathaniel Vance Ferguson of New Norway, Alberta, only child of Vance and Susan Ferguson was born September 17, 1944, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Nathaniel went home to be with his Lord, early morning Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the age of 76 years.


A graduate of Barberton High School, Barberton, Ohio; and Massillon Baptist College, Massillon, Ohio. He worked alongside pastors in Christian Education and song directing for over 35 years. He enjoyed his landscaping, horticulture, and arborist occupations for 40 years.


Left to cherish his memory are his wife Susan; children David (Laurie) of Drayton Valley, Darlene (Joe) Klink of Massillon, Ohio, and Nadine (Chris) Messick of New Norway; eight grandchildren; aunt and uncle Denzil and Joann Bleigh of Buchannon, West Virginia; and several cousins. Nathaniel was predeceased by his parents Vance and Susan. 
 

A private family service was held. Interment has taken place in the New Norway Cemetery.


If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Nathaniel's memory may be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, or to the Camrose Bible Baptist Church.
