Shirley Grace Pringle

(March 22, 1937 - February 26, 2021)

Shirley Grace Pringle of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the age of 83 years.

Shirley Grace Pringle (Dearing) was born on March 22, 1937, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.  Shirley left behind to cherish her memory her sister Gertie (Dearing) Hagen of Rimbey; sons Brian (Diane) Padgham of Camrose, Dwayne Padgham of Wetaskiwin, Lenard (Kathy) Padgham of Haylakes; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Shirley was predeceased by her parents Charles and Bertha Dearing; her husband John Pringle; her brothers Herb Dearing, Bob Dearing, Fritz Dearing, and Norman Dearing; and her sisters Laura Kreutz, Susan Hilgartner, Agnus Bebbington, and Donna Schneider.

Shirley spent most of her adult years living in Camrose and working at Bethany. However, she did take well deserved time off for many cherished trips and cruises to Alaska, Jamaica, Mexico, and Hawaii with her husband John and often a few friends.  Shirley also enjoyed many days at their cabin at Pigeon Lake, where she loved observing wildlife and spending time with family and friends.  Shirley enjoyed camping, boating, watching the chuck wagons, and reading.  But most of all, Shirley was happiest when she was surrounded by nature.
We will forever remember Shirley as a loving and hardworking wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma.

A private family service was held. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
