Charlotte Muriel McFarlane

Charlotte Muriel McFarlane (nee Vikse) passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Kamloops, BC at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her husband Pastor Leonard Edmund McFarlane; her parents Conrad and Esther Vikse; brother Don; and sister Marian. She leaves behind, her sisters Bea and Bernice; children James (Sandra), Rhoda (Ken) Delorey, Bruce, and Neil (Debbie); grandchildren Kara, Kyla, Jasmine, Ashley, Alissa, and Richenda; and her great-grandchildren Kelsey, Maggie, Warren, Mason, Silas, and Jack.
Charlotte devoted her life to working alongside her husband in Lutheran Church ministries, serving at Weldon Lutheran (Weldon, SK), Trinity Lutheran (Calgary, AB), St. Andrew’s Lutheran (Kamloops, BC), Deo Lutheran (Salmon Arm, BC) and Grace Lutheran (Westbank, BC). She loved her Lord Jesus, her husband and family, and lived life with deep thankfulness and humility.
Funeral services were held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Donalda, AB with family only able to attend and was officiated by Pastor Garfield Vikse. She was laid to rest there alongside her husband until the return of Jesus.
