Paul Michael Makarowski of Daysland, Alberta passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 81 years.
Paul Makarowski was born November 20, 1932 at Daysland Alberta to Henry and Annie (Kalita) Makarowski. After the birth of three sisters, Paul was the first of five sons. He attended Willow School and being the oldest son took on many of the responsibilities of the family farm.
Paul was a hard worker during his farming years and this continued well on to construction and carpentry years.
Paul was predeceased by two older sisters Marie Kowal and Rose Gabruck; and one younger brother William. He is survived by sister, Helen Zubreski; and brothers Peter, Joe and Russel (Jerry).
A Divine Liturgy was held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of The Prairies Roman Catholic Church Daysland with Rev. Greg Faryna officiating. Interment has taken place in the Daysland Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
