Obituary of Loretta Kroetsch

On November 4, 1916 Loretta Mary was born to George and Caroline Kroetsch at Heisler, Alberta. She passed away peacefully at Bethany Meadows in Camrose on December 30, 2013.
Loretta attended Heisler School and later remained on the farm dedicating her life caring for her aging parents and invalid sister. Loretta was a farm girl at heart, tending a large garden, enjoying her flowers and farm animals. Her biggest enjoyment was family get-togethers and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Leander (Phyllis) of Daysland; sisters Rita Bendfeld of Camrose, Edna Hauser of Camrose; sister-in-law Nora Kroetsch of Heisler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Loretta was predeceased by her brothers John, Edward, and Linus; sisters Ann VanSlyke and Irene Kroetsch; brothers-in-law Arnold Bendfeld, Ken Hauser, and Clifford VanSlyke; two nephews Richard and Alan Kroetsch.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 from St. Martin Roman Catholic Church Heisler with Rev. Leon Kler as celebrant. Interment followed in St. Martin Roman Catholic Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Martin Roman Catholic Cemetery Heisler.
