Cindy Roxanne Charpentier of Bawlf passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the age of 55 years. Cindy Roxanne Charpentier was born November 28, 1957 at St. Mary's Hospital in Camrose. She was raised in the Rosalind/Bawlf area with her six siblings Jim, Joe, Dianne, Brian, Star and Roxanne. Cindy loved the outdoors and always claimed she was a Gypsy because she'd rather live in a tent than a house. Her home was always open to friends, family and animals. Cindy worked at various jobs throughout her life. She always said she could do anything a man could do. Her last job with CAFCL was the most special to her heart. She spoke very highly of the staff and her clients. Cindy was predeceased by her brothers Joe and Brian; son Steven; husband Barry Heistad; and parents Vern and Mary. She is survived by her three children Angela (Jamie), Lane (Tori), and Alyssa (Lance); six grandchildren whom she loved very much Brandon (Ali), Nolan, Liberty, Naomi, Casseus and Madison; great-grandchild Riley; and her ex-husband/good friend Dave - Love you to infinity and beyond. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Lung Association. A Funeral Service was held 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 21, 2013 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lorimer Olsen officiating. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Lung Association, or SMA Foundation (Spinal Muscular Atrophy).
