Jesse was born November 3, 1953 in Elk Point, Alberta to Norman and Olga Palmerchuk, the second youngest of five siblings. He spent his early years in Derwent, Alberta where his father owned a Texaco Station. At the age of 13 he moved with his family to Edmonton, where he started his first job as a pizza cook. At the young age of 17 he met and married Dagmar and from this union three beautiful children were born - Tammy in 1972; Heather in 1973; and Trevor in 1976. Jesse found his calling as a painter and sandblaster. In 1986 he met Christine and they were married in 1987. They moved to Vernon, BC in 1990, where Dustin was born in 1993. They then settled in Camrose in 1994. Jesse continued his passion for painting. In 2005, Shelby was born. In July of 2005 Jesse joined Home Hardware Distribution Center in Wetaskiwin. He never gave up his love for painting, doing odd jobs for friends and family. In April of 2013 Jesse was diagnosed with lung cancer. He stayed positive and never gave up hope. On October 4, 2013 he passed away peacefully with all his children and his wife at his bedside.
