Obituary of Paul Guhle

Paul Bernard Guhle of Daysland passed away Friday September 27, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Paul was born January 25, 1928 in Spring Lake to Herman and Josephine Guhle, the first of four children. Paul married Irene (Steiger) from Forestburg on October 19, 1955. They started their married life north of Daysland on their farm, and raised four children there. He spent his entire life working hard at his passion, farming. He especially enjoyed operating machinery. In his later years wishing he could be on some of the big combines used today. Paul leaves to cherish his memory his children Brent (Bernice), Janet (Randy) Wolbeck, Marilyn (Barrie) Press, Patti (Vada) Lindstrand; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister Toni Boettcher; one brother in-law Emil (Vi) Steiger; two sisters-in-law; June Guhle and Evelyn Guhle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his wife Irene; his parents Herman and Josephine; and brothers Arnold and Edward. Paul's memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends and forever missed. A Mass of the Resurrection was held on Friday October 4, 2013 at 11:00am from Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church with Father Len Gartner as Celebrant. Inurnment followed in Daysland Cemetery. Memorial Donations are accepted to Providence Place, Daysland Hospital Foundation of to the charity of ones choice.
