Obituary of Lorne Lemay

Please share a memory of Lorne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne Michael Lemay in Camrose, Alberta on September 24, 2013 at the age of 60 years. Prior to a work accident in 1983, Lorne was employed by TransAlta Utilities and was an active member of the Kinsmen Club of Whitecourt. His love for the town was shown by the hours of community service he did through the club. Lorne was well known for his kindness, generosity, and his amazing sense of humor. Lorne was predeceased by his father George Lemay. He will never be forgotten by his family: his mother Grace of Camrose; son Brett (Vi) Lemay of Edmonton; sisters Cheryl Lemay of St. Albert and Tracy Poulin of St. Albert; brothers Randy (Becky) of Sherwood Park and Greg (Susan) of Forestburg; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Eriksson officiating. A gathering at the Masonic Hall will take place directly following. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to NABIS (Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society #229, 10106 111 Avenue Edmonton, AB T5G 0B4) or the Louise Jensen Care Centre.
