Obituary of Peter Pudlowski

Peter Pudlowski, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 years on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Louise Jensen Center, Camrose. Peter was born in Vilna, Alberta on May 11, 1937 to Mike and Alexsandra Pudlowski. When he was nine they moved to the Kopernick District where they started a mixed farming operation. Mixed farming was Peter's passion, raising cattle and growing crops - totally enjoying the country life. He married the love of his life, Donna Gamroth, from Galahad, on November 12, 1966 and then took over the family farm in 1967. They were blessed with four children Stanley, Danny, Timothy and Rosanne. In 2002 they sold the farm and moved to Daysland. Peter always enjoyed a game of crib now and then. He is survived by his loving wife Donna of 47 years; his son Stanley (Marjorie) of Camrose and their children Tyrone (Jennifer) Wnuk, Angela (Kirk) Ziefflie and Cassidy; son Danny (Janine) of Camrose and their children Erik and Dylan; son Timothy of Camrose; daughter Rosanne of Camrose; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Allan (Mary) of Camrose and numerous nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his parents Mike and Alexsandra Pudlowski, and his brother Edward Pudlowski. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 from Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church, Daysland with Rev. Leon Kler as celebrant. Interment has taken place at Daysland Cemetery. If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, S.T.A.R.S., or to the Daysland Hospital Fund.
