Obituary of Howard Bouck

Howard Bouck of Camrose passed away peacefully on August 30, 2013 at the age of 61 years old. Howard is survived by his loving family, wife Phyllis, sons Travis (Åsa) and Tyler (Carly), as well as his four loving grandsons, Erik, Anders, Jack and Noah. Howard was born in Wainwright, Alberta on August 2, 1952 to Alan and Jean Bouck. The family moved to Camrose in 1955. On May 10, 1958 he became a proud big brother to Ron Bouck. In 1963 the family moved out to the farm, also the current residence of Howard and Phyllis until his passing. In 1973, Howard graduated from NAIT as a civil technologist. On October 6th of that year Howard and Phyllis were also married. Howard worked at the City of Camrose from 1979 to 1990. In 1990 he took the position of the Manager of Public Works for the County of Camrose. He retired from the County in 2007 and enjoyed his retirement, farming as well as numerous other ventures. Howard was well known in the community for having strong values and principles. He was a man who loved to laugh and socialize with others. He was a very family orientated man as well as a devout Christian. He loved spending time with his wife, sons and grandchildren. Your comfort and support are greatly appreciated and gratefully acknowledged. ~ The Bouck Family ~ A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. from the Camrose Regional Exhibition (4250 Exhibition Drive, Camrose, AB) with Pastor Mark Morris and Pastor Ed Lehman officiating. Interment has taken place in the Century Meadows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to STARS (Bldg 16 Municipal Airport, 29 Airport Road NW, Edmonton, AB T5G 9Z9) or to the Firefighters Burn Treatment Unit (3C2, Walter Mackenzie Center, 8440 112 Street, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7).
