Wayne Lomness of Bawlf passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the age of 60 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Valerie; children Shane (Marcy) Demers of Bawlf, Travis (Morag) Lomness of Houston, Texas and Kim Lomness of Calgary; three grandchildren.
Wayne is also survived by brothers Larry (Marlene) of Calgary, Ken (Roseann) of Salmon Arm, B.C., Robert (Judy) of Stettler, Gordon (Maria) of Valleyview; sisters Betty (Harold) Nelson of Camrose, Joan (Charlie) Cramer of Valleyview.
Wayne was predeceased by his mother and father Herdis and Richard; brother Darren, and sister Lois Davies.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the Bawlf Lutheran Church with Rev. Bill Harder officiating. Inurnment took place prior to the service in the Bawlf Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Hospital Palliative Care.
