Mrs. Florence Ringwall of New Norway passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the age 87 years.
Florence was born April 6, 1925 in Three Hills, Alberta. She was raised in the Rocky Mountain House area. Florence joined the WAC in 1943. After the war she lived in Edmonton and on November 12, 1948 she married Stanley Ringwall. They farmed Southwest of New Norway. In 1962 they moved into the village of New Norway until her health declined. In February 2012, she moved into Faith House in Camrose, then to Bashaw Lodge for about four months.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Gordon (Corinne) of New Norway. Florence is also survived by her two grandsons, Richard of New Norway, Thomas (Natalie) also of New Norway, and her two great grandsons, Oliver and Eli. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, and one brother George.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Stanley; parents Charles and Frances Hulme; and brother George.
A private Graveside Service has taken place in the New Norway Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to New Norway Cemetery Fund, The New Norway United Church, or to The Stollery Children's Hospital.
