Ebba Marion Eunice Anderson was born on the farm south of Meeting Creek, Alberta on February 22, 1925 to Hugo and Jenny Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Swedish Lutheran Church. Education was received at Hazel Grove School, high school in Meeting Creek, and a commercial certificate from Alberta College in Edmonton, Alberta. She began her career with the Alberta Provincial Government in 1945 and retired in 1982. She was active in the Swedish Lutheran churches wherever she was living, enjoyed 5-pin bowling (won the Canadian Championship in 1973), traveling internationally, creating beautiful handicraft, and driving her Toyota around Alberta visiting family and friends. She continued living in Edmonton until April of 2001, when she relocated to Camrose, Alberta. She is lovingly remembered by all of her nieces and nephews and their families, and also by her many friends and colleagues. Ebba was predeceased by her parents Hugo and Jenny Anderson; two brothers Sig and Bert Anderson; and four sisters Thyra Liden, Harta Graham, Irene Streberg and Ellen Graham. A Funeral Service was held 1 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 from Bethel Lutheran Church (4102 73 St Camrose, Alberta) with Rev. Kristian Wold officiating. Interment followed in the Meeting Creek Cemetery. Donations are gratefully accepted to On Eagles Wings, Bethel Lutheran Church, or The Battle River Community Foundation.
