Mrs. Dora Annie Courtney of Camrose, AB., formerly of Ponoka, AB. passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the age of 93 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Earl (Val) Courtney of Calgary, Bill (Shawna) Courtney of Red Deer, Joan (Doug) Endres of Sherwood Park, Don Courtney of Edmonton; and one son-in-law Doug Baker of Dried Meat Lake; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. Dora is also survived by one brother Norris (Frieda) Bragg of Ponoka.
Dora is predeceased by her husband Howard, one infant baby, one daughter Sharon Baker, one granddaughter Courtney Baker, five brothers Angus, Stan, Amos, Herald, and Earl.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the Camrose United Church with Rev. Alan Richards officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The War Amps or the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
