Obituary of Connie Rickards

Connie Jean Rickards of Camrose passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the age of 57 years. She was raised and attended school in Camrose. Connie liked sports, skating, swimming, she taught fitness at the swimming pool. She did a lot of traveling. She loved cats, she would always find a home for a stray, and it was usually her home Her favorite pastime before becoming so ill was spending time with her grandson Christian. Left to remember her fondly are her special friend James Baily; children Wyatt Boden (Melanie Daignault) of Camrose and Mallory Boden (Shannon Hammer) of Camrose; mother Elsie Richardson; grandson Christian; step-children Mandy, Curtis and family, and Ryan; brothers Bob (Karen) Richardson of Leduc, Tim Richardson of Camrose and Dan (Jayne) Richardson of Camrose; and sister Karen Davis of Camrose. Connie was predeceased by her father Bruce and nephew Brett Starcheski. A Funeral Service was held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013 from Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Interment took place in the Camrose Cemetery.
