Obituary of Clinton Sych

It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our dear Clinton of Gwynne (formerly of Hay Lakes) at the age of 55 years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother Margaret of Camrose, his best friend and brother Terry of Gwynne, loving sisters and brothers-in-law; Debbie (Frank) Walther of Ardrossan and Cheryl (John) Ward of Edmonton, two nephews and one great niece; and many family and friends. Following high school, Clinton started his career with the County of Camrose as a grader operator and then as a journeyman welder. He started his retirement in 2012 and was enjoying himself. Clinton with his brother Terry farmed in the Gwynne area. Clinton would also do welding for neighbours and friends. Clinton was a devoted son and always had time for a visit or providing a ride for an appointment and making sure mom and dad's needs were met. Clinton will be remembered for his huge heart, a great sense of humour and a gentle soul. Clinton was predeceased by his dad Mike Sych(May 2008) and his sister Shelly Sych(April 2011). At Clinton's request cremation will take place and there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to S.T.A.R.S. or to the Stollery Childrens Hospital.
