Obituary of Loraine McLeod

Loraine McLeod of Camrose passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in St. Mary's Hospital, Camrose, Alberta at the age of 67 years. Loraine is survived by her loving husband Mike; 2 sons Rick (Sandra) Butler of Red Deer, A.B. and Charles Butler of Red Deer, A.B; 3 daughters Julie Simonsen of Vancouver, B.C., Sheryl Butler (William Stuart) of Caroline, A.B. and Loretta Butler of Red Deer, A.B.; 4 grandchildren, including special grandson Rick (Kerri) Butler and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 brothers Ross Simonson of Red Deer, A.B. and Clayton Simonson of New Brunswick; 1 sister Joyce Beim of Camrose, A.B. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Loraine was predeceased by her parents Olie and Margaret Simonson; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral Services were held Friday, January 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ferintosh Community Hall in Ferintosh, A.B. with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Pastoral Care) officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Alberta Lung Association.
