Obituary of Julia Chytracek

Please share a memory of Julia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Julia was born January 21, 1984 in Red Deer and was schooled in Eckville. She furthered her education at Augustana University College in Camrose where she majored in Phys Ed. and minored in Drama. While at Augustana she was a Resident assistant, played college volleyball and met her love of her life Jon, who she married August 18, 2007. Shortly after marrying, Julia and Jon had the opportunity to travel to Korea to teach English. One of Julia's greatest passions was to teach, and she was fulfilled doing this. In 2008, she was accepted Concordia University College and received a Bachelor's of Education in 2010. On April 4, 2011 they were blessed with a son, Noah Jonathan James. Becoming parents was another lifelong dream that they realized together. Julia's life was always full of activities. She was a very big part of every community she lived in and represented them and her family with pride and joy. She was honoured to represent the Shorthorn Cattle Association and the family farm by becoming the Alberta Shorthorn Lassie for 2 years. It did not take long for Julia to leave a lasting impact on people with her intense warmth, love and giant smile. She is survived by her loving husband Jon, son Noah, her parents Bill and Brenda Darlington, sisters April (Deryk) Legault, Nicole, Melanie (Harland Lugt), her special niece Autumn Legault, father and mother in-law Mark and Brandi Chytracek, sister in-law Amanda (Brendin) Huculuck and brother in-law David (JessiTomiyama). She is also survived by her maternal grandmother Alma Walker, Jon's grandfather Frank and Nikki Schmitt and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. We will always remember her infectious smile that brightened a room and her absolute zest for life. Julia brought so much light, love, and joy to everyone she encountered, and will continue to do so through her memory. She was an angel sent from above. She will be forever missed, never forgotten and always loved. Funeral Services were held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 2:00pm., from Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev. Kristian Wold officiating. Cremation has taken place. If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Noah Chytracek Trust Fund C/O The CIBC bank Camrose Branch.
