Mike Tchir of Ferintosh, formerly of Armena, passed away Tuesday September 4th, 2012 at the age of 79 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carol Hrabak; children Brenda Tchir of Armena, Michael (Lori) Tchir of Innisfail and Susanne Lindberg of Calgary; step-children Glenn Croteau of Edmonton and Randy (Anke) Croteau of Calgary; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers Bill (Jean) Tchir and Stanley (Sandy) Tchir; and four sisters Eleanor (Ernie) Tulik, Sophie (Chuk) Baldwin, Nettie (Clayton) Bork and Lena (Harry) Karpyshyn. Mike was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
A Funeral Service was held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Grambo officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Parkinson Alberta Society.
