Walter Henry Schneider of Holden, formerly of Stony Plain, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the age of 74 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Selda; four children Steven (Diane), Douglas (Jaana), Tamara (Derrick) Piche, and Laura (Clinton) Piche; nine grandchildren; one sister Yvonne Cunningham. He was predeceased by his parents; and adopted sister Lorina Briggs.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heimtal Cemetery at St. John's Lutheran Church (Highway #19, one mile north on range road 255). A memorial service was held following the interment at 2:00 p.m. from the Global Connections Church (205 Main St. Spruce Grove, Alberta).
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
