Mr. Paul Shea O'Riordan of Camrose, formerly of Whitecourt, Alberta, passed away after a nine month battle with cancer, on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at the age of 80. He leaves to mourn his passing , his loving wife Marian, two daughters; Shannon (Guy) DeSantis of Calgary and Diane O'Riordan of Camrose, seven grandchildren; Camryn and Nicholas DeSantis, Brianne, Brittney, Braedan, Brinnley and Brekkan Bowes, one brother Jim (Bev) O'Riordan of Camrose, three sisters; Anna McGuinness of Kelowna, Aileen O'Riordan of Camrose, Marie McKinnon of South Surrey B.C. and numerous relatives and friends, especially Dr. Randy and Carol Williams and Family of Edmonton. Paul was predeceased by his mother and father; Mary Agnes and Frederick, four brothers; Tom, Bob, Pat, Bitz, one sister Rita. Paul lived in Whitecourt for 38 years. He owned and operated Twin Rivers Furniture during this time. He was active in Kinsmen, Knights of Columbus and had many friends in the Whitecourt area. He returned home to Camrose in 2005, where he enjoyed his retirement, playing crib and golf with many friends and family. A prayer service was held on Tuesday July 24, 2012 at 7:30 pm from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at 1:00 pm from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Camrose, Alberta, with Deacon Doug Tien presiding over Prayers and Rev. Father Don Stein and Rev. Father Larry Pederson as celebrants. Interment has taken place in the Camrose Cemetery. Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
