Eva "May" McCarthy (Grundberg) of Camrose passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the age of 78 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children Sheryl (Emile) Dubois of Edson, Donna Peters of Edmonton, Byron (Heather) Grundberg of St. Albert, Kevin (Shelley) Grundberg of Camrose, Joan Merrill (Dan Straathof) of Warburg; three step-children Pat (Kim) McCarthy of Camrose, Mary Anne (Rick) Waters of Kamploops, B.C., Sheila (Tim) Laity of Yellowknife, NWT; ten grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
May was predeceased by her first husband Vern Grundberg; her second husband Pat McCarthy; three brothers Rob Jack, Bruce Jack, and Wally Jack.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Lutheran Church with Rev. Kristian Wold offciating.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Hospice Society of Camrose & District, The Bethel Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice.
