Mr. Rupert Joseph Blatz of Camrose passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the age of 91 years. Left to cherish his memory are his three brothers Peter (Isabelle) of Brazil, Ron (Janet) of Camrose, and Joe (Pauline) of Saskatoon; six sisters Mary Blatz of Sylvan Lake, Sister Hermana Blatz of Saskatoon, Kathy Belanger of Victoria, Vicky Sturek of Camrose, Anne Blatz of Edmonton, Aloisa (Zig) Famulak of Camrose.
Rupert was predeceased by his parents; one sister Aloisa; three brothers Herman, Alex, and Bert.
A prayer vigil was held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel.
A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Larry Pederson as celebrant.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Hospital Chapel Fund, or the charity of one's choice.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Rupert
