Mr. Alexander Halbert of Ferintosh, passed away on Monday February 27, 2012 at the age of 94 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters; Marilyn(William) Black of Camrose and Virginia (Dale) Taylor of Calgary, four grandchildren; Steven (Anne-Marie) Taylor of Calgary, Timmothy (Nina) Taylor of Calgary, Christine (Tom) Zarski of Sherwood Park and Bill (Jaimy Kamphorst) of Camrose, five great grandchildren; Grayson, Olivia, Trinity, Ava and Aaron
Alex was predeceased by his first wife Olive and second wife Patricia and brother Bob and sisters; Bessie, Bella, Margaret and Jean.
A funeral service was held on Monday March 5, 2012 at 11:00am from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later in the New Norway cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Stollery Childrens Hospital or to the Kidney Association.
