Mrs. Doris Powell of Camrose, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Dale (Cheryl), Raymond (Claire), and Robert (Patti-Jay); six grandchildren Darcy (Amanda), Trevor (Gyongyi), Tyler, Jayne, Denver, Karla; 5 great-grandchildren Dylan Cohen, Laina, Dalton, Elliott; close nephew Marwood (Marilyn) Alexander; sisters Evelyn (George) Cunningham of Camrose.
Doris was predeceased by her husband Duncan, two brothers Gerry and Art Wrolson and sister Myrtle Alexander.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00a.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshment followed at the Camrose Royal Canadian Legion.
Inurnment took place in the Daysland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Battle River Community Foundation or a charity of one's choice are gratefully accepted.
