Verne Olsen of Camrose passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the age of 72 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his life-long friend Lena Weslowski; children Dan Olsen of Sherwood Park, and Dr. Shauna Olsen of Reno, Nevada; four grandchildren Elizabeth, Shaun, Daniel, and Katie.
Verne is also survived by one brother Dennis (Penny) Olsen; two sisters Rosalie (Walt, and Ivadale (Ken) Falk; one step-brother Allan, and one step-sister Rita.
Verne was predeceased by his parents Percie and Jessie.
Funeral services were held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ron Swanson officiating. Interment followed in the Ferintosh Central Valley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
