Mrs. Olga "Ollie" Jacobs of Medicine Hat, formerly of Camrose, beloved wife of the late Mr. Chester Jacobs, passed away on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 at the age of 94 years.
Olga leaves to cherish her memory two children, Valerie (Mervin) Zwicker of Medicine Hat, and John (Donna) Jacobs of Stettler; five grandchildren, Kelly (Jane) Zwicker, Patti (Carlo) Federico, Bill (Julie) Zwicker, Terine Jacobs, and Penny Sue Jacobs; five great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Helen) Yanota; one sister, Margaret Macleod; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by her husband, Chester in 1978; her parents; two daughters, Sharon (Danny) Ferguson and Susan Jacobs; two brothers, Joe and Frank Yanota; and two sisters, Anne Burness and Helen Lencucha.
A Memorial Mass was held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Larry Pederson as Celebrant. Inurnment followed in the Family Plot at the Camrose Cemetery.
