Mrs. Veronica Rattell of Camrose, formerly of Ohaton passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the age of 102 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Jack (Christie) Rattell of St. Albert, Paul (Lorraine) Rattell of Calgary; five daughters Joan Kroetsch of Bawlf, Anne Ramstad of Drayton Valley, Billie (Don) Nelson of Stettler, Evva (Tom) Tomaszewski of Camrose and Donna (Ron) Harmider of Ohaton; son-in-law Harry McLachlan of Whitehorse. Veronica is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Rattell, two daughters Joyce McLachlan and Freda Batke; three sons-in-law Larry Kroetsch, Vern Ramstad and Virg Batke; grandson Murray Nelson and great-great granddaughter Tori McLachlan.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Leon Kler as Celebrant. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery.
