Mr. George Perry of New Norway, formerly of Bashaw passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the age of 75 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving companion Carol McLean; his children Doug (Lucia) of Ladysmith, B.C., Keith of Bashaw, Michele (Charles) Hunter of Camrose,and Liane (Jim) Gotaas of Cranbrook B.C.; seven grandchilren Kristen, Dana, Dustin, Ryan, Daimon, Kayla, and Tianna. George is also survived by two sisters Debbie (Jim) Sigurdson of Sylvan Lake, Terry (John) Matheson of Innisfail.
He was predeceased by his first wife Fern, and two brothers Rick, Don, and one sister Phyllis.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Cross Cancer Institute.
