Ms. Karen Asfeldt of Camrose, formerly Dawson Creek passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the age of 72 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Henrik (Kathy) of Athabasca, Morten (Krystal Shirley) of Camrose, Thomas (Karen) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Susanne (Gerry) Penney of Ft. McMurray, and the father of her children Johannes Asfeldt of Camrose. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren Hans, Nils, Anika, Jasper, Kaisa, Kristian, Hannah, Kimberly, Danielle, and Breanna; 2 brothers Hans (Martha) Aas of Deluth, Minnesota, Hakon Aas of Denmark; 2 sisters Annelise (Per) Fogh-Neilsen of Denmark and Grete (Børge) Neilsen of Denmark.
Karen was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethel Lutheran Church in Camrose with Rev. Kristian Wold officiating. Cremation to follow service.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Camp Kuriakos (Box 372 Bentley, AB T0C 0J0).
