Please share a memory of Nolan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nolan William Kerr of Round Hill, Albeta passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the age of 2 years. Nolan was born on April 12, 2009 a healthy baby boy. He was adored by many including his big sister, Chantal, who was his best friend. Nolan soon earned the nickname "Monkey" because as soon as he could crawl he was climbing. He enjoyed imitating his sister and was a little bit of a clown. Nolan would always point or shake his head "no" to let us know we needed to do something else. It was his fighting spirit that carried him through his life of two and a half years including his 14 month battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving parents Wesley and Colleen Kerr of Round Hill, his big sister, Chantal, his grandparents Daryle and Kathy Kerr and Harvey and Bernadine Maul, his aunt and uncles Annette (Jason) Lesmeister and Kevin (Janice) Maul, Ken and Mike Kerr, one great grandmother and one great grandfather, numerous great aunts and uncles and many cousins and friends. Nolan was predeceased by his brother Bryce. "Nolan fought through adversity of many challenges and his legacy will be to teach others to never give up." Funeral Services were held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Francis Xavier Church with Father Jacques Vaillancourt officiating. Interment followed in the Bawlf Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to Kids with Cancer Society.
