Milton was born January 22, 1938 in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan. He passed away in Camrose on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the age of 71 years. Milton spent two years of his life in Innisfail, AB, after that the family moved to the Wetaskiwin area. As he was growing up he worked at many odd jobs. Once he finished grade ten he quit school to work on a farm. After that he moved to Camrose, finding work as a semi-truck driver for many years. Milton then decided he needed another change in career so he went up North to drive a logging truck. In his retirement he moved to Edmonton, spending much time outdoors. Two years ago Milton moved to Camrose to live at Bethany Meadows Care Facility until his passing. Milton is survived by one brother John and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Millie; his father Benjamin; and two sisters Letty and Elizabeth. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Burgar Memorial Chapel in Camrose with Pastor Murray Cowan officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the St. Thomas Cemetery, Duhamel, Alberta. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the charity of your choice.
